A Joyful Beginning at Emmaus College Jimboomba
This term, Emmaus College Jimboomba proudly welcomed our 2026 Prep students and their families at our annual Welcome BBQ - an event that marks the beginning of a meaningful journey in faith, learning, and community.
In 2026, we are excited to open our doors to four vibrant Prep classes, including approximately 69 new families joining the Emmaus community for the very first time. It is both a privilege and a joy to see so many families choosing Emmaus College as the foundation for their child's educational journey.
The Welcome BBQ was more than just a social gathering—it was a celebration of connection, belonging, and the values that define our College. Families had the opportunity to meet staff, connect with other parents, and explore the spaces where their children will learn and grow. The event also marked the beginning of our comprehensive orientation program, designed to ensure a smooth and confident transition into school life.
At Emmaus, our signature practices are grounded in nurturing the whole child. We are committed to fostering a learning environment that is inclusive, faith-filled, and future-focused. Our approach integrates academic excellence with social-emotional learning, spiritual development, and strong community partnerships. These practices are not only embedded in our daily teaching but are also reflected in the way we welcome and support new families.
Looking ahead to 2026 and beyond, Emmaus College continues to grow with purpose. Our vision is to provide a dynamic and responsive learning environment that prepares students for the challenges of tomorrow. With a focus on innovation, wellbeing, and community engagement, we are shaping a future where every student is empowered to thrive.
To our newest families: welcome. We are delighted to have you with us and look forward to walking this journey together—one filled with discovery, growth, and shared success.
