​Community​ Service and Spiritual Enhancement

Students in Years 10, 11 and 12 are invited to participate in an Immersion experience. In conjunction with Mission Australia, students and staff come together to reflect on and learn from other community groups and pass the individual and group stories on to a wider audience.

Past immersion experiences have included – East Timor (2010); Warralong, Western Australia (2011) and Cambodia (2012, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018 and 2019).

 

St Vincent de Paul – Vinnies Sleepout 

In term 3, students from Years 6 – 12 are invited to participate in the Vinnies Sleepout in an effort to raise awareness of homelessness in Australia. 

For the Year 6 students who choose to participate in the event, they are invited to make soup for those students who will spend the night in the school hall. They are also invited to listen to guest speakers and participate in a number of activities arranged by the Senior students of the College. StVinnies_opt.jpg

Students in Years 7-12 are invited to brave the cold and spend the night in the hall​.

All students are encouraged to participate by donating winter clothing and blankets.
