Instrumental Music
The Instrumental Music Program at Emmaus offers excellent quality private tuition for keen and committed students in any year level. The aim of the instrumental program is the development of the student's musical, social and personal awareness through participation in instrumental music instruction, ensembles, rehearsals and performances.
Tuition is available to students on the following instruments:

Any student learning an instrument can join one of the Emmaus College ensembles - Band Ensemble or String Ensemble. More information on the program can be found in the Instrumental Handbook 2020.


Choir
The Emmaus College Primary Choir is made up of students from years 3 ,4, 5 and 6. Students meet regularly during lunchtimes and each Wednesday afterschool to rehearse a repertoire of songs to perform at College and local events, regional eisteddfods and to participate in and lead the singing for the College Musical.
Musicals
Emmaus College students are invited to participate in the College Musical every two years. Students from Prep to Year 12 can take part in the Musical and work together during scheduled practices to put the show together.
Past shows have included – Joseph and the Technicolour Dream Coat (2006); High School The Musical (2010); Grease (2012); Camp Rock (2014), Aladdin Jr The Musical (2016) and Back to the 80's ... The Totally Awesome Musical! (2018). Our next musical will be Beauty and the Beast in May 2020.
