Emmaus College’s QISSN netball team has delivered an outstanding performance at the recent Vicki Wilson Cup carnival, finishing the day undefeated and reinforcing their reputation as one of the region’s strongest secondary school sides.
Competing in the prestigious Vicki Wilson Championship division for Years 10–12, the team rose to every challenge with composure and confidence, recording seven wins and one draw against quality opposition from across Queensland.
Key victories over St Peters Springfield, Sophia College, MacGregor State High School and Faith Lutheran College highlighted the team’s depth and skill, while a hard-fought draw against Stuartholme School showcased their resilience under pressure.
Across the carnival, the players demonstrated exceptional teamwork, discipline and sportsmanship, supporting one another both on and off the court. Their success reflects not only their talent but also the commitment and preparation shown throughout the season, along with a strong and positive team culture.
The team’s efforts were a testament to their dedication and to the support of coaching staff, who have guided the group to this impressive result.
Emmaus College congratulates all players and staff involved on a fantastic carnival campaign and looks forward to following the team’s continued success as they progress through the QISSN season.
