Emmaus College is proud to unveil its 2026 Cattle Team, with students and livestock set to make their first appearance of the season at this weekend’s Kalbar Show.
With the full team now assembled, the College’s Agriculture program continues to grow thanks to the generous support of dedicated cattle breeders. Emmaus extends sincere thanks to returning partners Stoney Pinch Droughtmasters and Cribrum Droughtmasters, and warmly welcomes Roselah Droughtmasters and Warrill Park Droughtmasters to the program in 2026.
A special acknowledgement goes to Andrew Percy of Cribrum Droughtmasters, who has generously donated a steer, Emmaus College Steve. Steve will be shown this season before being sold, with proceeds directly supporting future Agriculture Department projects.
The 2026 team features an impressive line-up:
- Stoney Pinch: Diego, Dusty, Chilli
- Cribrum: Felicity 56th, Olivia 5th, Quinalow, Quirindi
- Roselah: Benjamin
- Warrill Park: CopyKat
- Emmaus College: Steve
Participation in shows like Kalbar provides students with valuable hands-on learning, building skills in animal handling, teamwork and responsibility while strengthening connections with the agricultural community.
The Kalbar Show marks an exciting first outing for the team, and the Emmaus community is invited to come along and support our students in action this weekend.
